FAQ
Short answers to the questions that come up first.
No. QSHIELD is a standard ERC-20 with a standard market. The post-quantum part is the vault: a separate contract that holds tokens under hash-based keys. You can hold QSHIELD in any wallet; shielded, it is held by the vault for your account.
To get tokens in, yes: ETH and tokens start in a wallet. After that, no. Sending, selling, unshielding and changing the key all work with the account alone.
No. Choose No wallet: the vault pays the gas from its own deposit and your account pays a small fee in QSHIELD.
Half of the token's creator fees buys QSHIELD for the vault, and every network fee stays in it. Both raise what each share is worth.
You forge the next key under Key. Same account, same words, 256 more. There is no limit on how many keys an account can go through.
Restore it from the 24 words on the second device. Use one device at a time for signing: each device keeps its own record of the leaves it has used.
No. Sends, sales, unshields and key changes cannot be paused by anyone. The one switch that exists only stops new tokens from entering.
No. Quantum Shield protects who can sign, not who can look. Accounts and balances are public, like any token.
A balance behind a published public key is exposed for as long as it stays there. Quantum Shield puts a hash-based key between the secret and the funds today, on a chain that exists today, with no protocol change required.
