Send
Move a shielded balance to another account with a hash-based signature and nothing else.
Open the Send tab, paste the recipient's account name (0x and 64 hexadecimal digits), enter an amount and sign.
The balance moves inside the vault, from your account to theirs. The tokens never leave the shield, so at no point are they under a wallet key.
How it travels
Every operation offers two ways to reach the chain:
| Who submits | Who pays gas | Cost to you | |
|---|---|---|---|
| No wallet | A bundler, through ERC-4337 | The vault's gas deposit | The network fee, in QSHIELD, taken from the account |
| Any wallet | The connected wallet | That wallet, in ETH | Gas only |
With No wallet you need nothing but the account: no ETH, no extension, no connected address. The signature is produced in your browser and the vault validates it on-chain.
With Any wallet, the wallet is only a courier. It cannot change the operation: the amount, the recipient and every other field are covered by the hash-based signature.
Signatures are counted
Each operation uses one leaf of your key. The Key tab shows how many are left. A signature that never lands (a closed tab, a dropped connection) uses its leaf all the same; the next one you land retires it.
