Buying and selling go through the token's market, which charges its usual 1% trading fee. Quotes in the app already include it.
The network fee
The network fee is a flat amount worth 0.0005 ETH, paid in QSHIELD from the account. The vault recomputes its token amount once an hour from an on-chain average of the price. The app shows it next to No wallet.
It is not paid to anyone. The shares are burned and their tokens stay in the vault, so every network fee is a donation to all shielded accounts.
Where the trading fees go
Every trade of QSHIELD, shielded or not, pays creator fees to a contract, not to a wallet:
- Half is put to work for the shielded: it keeps the vault's gas deposit topped up and buys QSHIELD on the market, which is donated to the vault.
- Half goes to the team.
The donated tokens raise the value of every share. A shielded balance grows with the token's trading volume without its owner doing anything. See the harvester.
